Taiwan-based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) Bora Pharmaceuticals recently announced the establishment of Bora Biologics Co., Ltd., to focus on the development of bio-pharmaceuticals. Bora Biologics has investors Taishin Healthcare Limited Partnership and Dr. Allen Chao, founder of Tanvex BioPharma.to support the growth and strategy in bio-pharmaceuticals.
In line with its strategy of building comprehensive CDMO capabilities, Bora has expanded into the biopharmaceutical market with the acquisition of Eden Biologics, located in Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park, Taiwan. The acquisition will help the Bora Group build a presence in the biopharmaceutical market and position the organization to expand its service offering to their clients supporting new and innovative drug development.
